Your bank files

CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX, QFX and QBO files are processed entirely in your web browser. They are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see their transactions.

PDF statements

PDFs can’t be read in the browser. When you convert one, it is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and on to our AI provider, Anthropic, which extracts the transactions and returns them to your browser. We don’t store the PDF or the transactions. Anthropic processes the file under its commercial terms, which don’t allow using it to train AI models. To enforce the free daily limit we log the time of each PDF conversion with your IP address (or your account email), and delete those records after two days.

What we store

If you buy a plan we store your email address, your remaining conversions, your plan and your Stripe customer ID. We use them to give you access, send login links and answer support requests.

Service providers

• Anthropic reads PDF statements you choose to convert.
• Stripe processes payments. We never see or store your card number.
• Cloudflare hosts the site and our database, and sends login emails.
• Google measures our ad campaigns through the Google tag.

Cookies

We set one cookie to keep you logged in after purchase or login. We also use the Google tag (Google Ads) to measure which ads lead to visits and purchases; Google may set its own cookies for this. It never receives your bank files or transactions.
