Drop a PDF statement and our AI reads every transaction: date, description and amount, with withdrawals as negative numbers. Then we double-check the result against the opening and closing balances printed on the statement, so you know it’s complete before you import it.
You get a clean .xlsx workbook with one row per transaction and real Excel dates and numbers, so you can sort, filter, total and build pivot tables right away. Already have a CSV or QFX download? Drop that instead.
How to use it
- Drop your PDF statement above.
- Wait a few seconds while we read it — long statements can take a minute.
- Check the preview and the balance check, then click Download .xlsx.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes for files with up to 20 transactions, plus 2 free PDF statements a day. For bigger files you can buy a pack of 10 conversions or go unlimited — see pricing.
Which PDF statements work?
Bank and credit card statements from most US banks, card issuers and credit unions, including clear scans. Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked first. Statements that cover several accounts are split so you can pick the account.
How do I know the transactions are right?
After reading the PDF we check that the transactions add up from the opening to the closing balance printed on the statement, and tell you if they don’t. Always review the preview before importing.
Is my bank data uploaded anywhere?
CSV, Excel, QIF, OFX, QFX and QBO files are converted entirely in your browser and never leave your computer. PDFs have to be read on our server: we send the PDF to our AI provider, Anthropic, to pull out the transactions, return them to you and keep nothing — not the PDF, not the transactions.
