Chime Bank Statement: How to Download It in the App or Online
You can download Chime statements in the Chime app under Profile > Documents > Account statements, or by logging in at chime.com. Chime generates statements monthly for Checking and Savings accounts and emails you when each one is ready. It doesn’t mail paper statements.
A note on the name: Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank. According to Chime’s website, its banking services are provided by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A., Members FDIC. People still search for a “Chime bank statement,” and the account statement in the app is the document to use when someone asks you for one.
The steps below are based on Chime’s help article View or download account statements as of October 2026. This guide is independent and isn’t affiliated with Chime. Menus can change, so check Chime’s help center if something looks different.
How to download a Chime statement in the app
- Open the Chime app and tap Profile.
- Tap Documents, then Account statements.
- Select the account and the month.
- Tap the export icon at the top right to save or share the statement.
How to download a Chime statement on chime.com
- Go to chime.com and select Log In.
- Click Profile, then Documents.
- Under Account Statements, select the account and the month.
- Select the statement to download it.
When Chime statements are available
- Checking and Savings: monthly, with an email when each statement is ready
- Credit Builder: by billing cycle
Statements cover full periods. For Savings, Chime says it can’t provide a statement covering less than one month, so if you need proof of activity partway through a month, ask the person requesting it whether they’ll accept another document.
Chime’s help center doesn’t say how many past statements stay available, so check the list in the app for the months you need, and save copies of the ones you might need later.
Statements for other Chime products
Other Chime products have statements in the same place:
- MyPay: Go to Profile > Documents > Account statements, tap MyPay at the top, and select the period. MyPay statements cover full calendar months, the current month’s statement isn’t available until the month ends, and custom date ranges aren’t offered.
- Investing: Go to Profile > Documents, then under Account statements tap Investing and select the month.
Review each statement
Look over each statement when Chime emails you that it’s ready. If you see a transaction you don’t recognize, contact Chime promptly through the app or by phone. Under federal rules, you generally have 60 days after a statement is sent to report an unauthorized electronic transfer that appears on it, and waiting longer can limit your protection.
Paper statements
Chime doesn’t send physical statements. If you need a paper copy, download the statement and print it yourself.
If you can’t log in
Chime’s help center says that if you can’t access the Chime app or chime.com, you can’t view or download statements directly. To get copies, call Chime at (844) 244-6363.
Can you download Chime transactions as CSV, QFX, or QBO?
Chime’s help articles describe downloading monthly statements. They don’t describe exporting your transactions as a spreadsheet or as a Quicken or QuickBooks file. For most people, the monthly statement is the best source for their transaction data.
Using a Chime statement as proof
Chime statements are often what people send for rental applications, loan applications, and proof of income or address. A few tips:
- Send complete statements. Include every page of each month requested.
- Check what’s being asked for. Some landlords and lenders want two or three months; ask before you send anything. See what landlords look for in a bank statement.
- Never change a statement. Editing a balance, a deposit, or a name on a statement is fraud. If you’d rather hide your full account number, ask the recipient whether a redacted copy is acceptable.
Convert a Chime statement to Excel, CSV, or QuickBooks
Our converter reads PDF bank statements. Upload the statement you downloaded from Chime and export its transactions to Excel or CSV to total your deposits, track spending, or prepare for taxes. If you do your bookkeeping in QuickBooks, our PDF to QBO converter creates a file you can import.
Keep the original statement as your record, and compare the converted totals with the statement before you rely on them. For more on statements at any bank, see how to get a bank statement.
